Kangra Fort
The Kangra Fort was the seat of one of the oldest dynasties the world has seen, the Katoch rulers. You will find delicately detailed halls and watch-towers in the fort complex, as well as a few ancient temples that date back to the 9th century AD.

Namgyal Monastery
Founded by the 3rd Dalailama in 1575, the Namgyal Monastery is one of the most important centres for learning and culture for the Tibetans. As of now, the monastery is home to around 200 monks and is one of the most-visited places in Dharamshala.
